God will be Pleased When…

An Amazing Thought

Did you ever stop to think that God is going to be as pleased to have you with Him in Heaven as you are to be there? (A.W. Tozer)

Sometimes we need a reminder from an clearer-seeing Christian brother that our vision of God’s invite into Heaven is a little off.

A.W. Tozer died when I was 5 and I didn’t receive Jesus as my Savior until I was 20. But he left behind written words that are still bearing fruit in my life for God’s kingdom. For instance, this was a new thought for me when I first read it.

But the Scripture backs it up.

Just so, I tell you, there will be more joy in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine righteous persons who need no repentance.

(Luke 15:7 RSV)

Joy is how God and His angels react when we transfer from the kingdom of darkness into the kingdom of light and at that point, they know they’ll be spending eternity with each of us.
