Fear Visits Everyone

Faith or Fear?

The presence of fear does not mean you have no faith. Fear visits everyone. But make your fear a visitor and not a resident.  (Max Lucado)

Faith Takes Courage

Following Jesus in spite of feeling afraid is an act of great faith. In fact, any leap of faith is always accompanied by fear. It’s wisdom to double-check with the Lord, and be sure of His will.  After that, we each choose whether to go forward or stall out at the starting line,

The Biblical characters who stalled out early aren’t remembered. Fear ruled them. So they never found out what God would have done through their lives had they obeyed.

My Spiritual Point

Will we be ruled by faith or fear? It’s always our choice.

Read the story of Gideon in Judges 6:1-8:21 to see what the Lord can do through an obedient coward.

Spoiler alert; Gideon didn’t remain a coward.
