On Monday, December 24th, 2012 my brother’s heart stopped beating.
When I arrived at the Burn Center on Sunday, the doctor gave me a truthful assessment of my brother’s condition.
I discovered I couldn’t change my brother’s self-destructive path. It was his choice.
When you’re a pit dweller, the urgency and passion of your prayers increases. I was fighting a battle I couldn’t afford to lose.
Before writing more about my time dwelling in the dark pit and the Lord’s goodness, I need to share about my brother’s life.
During the darkest period of my life, Jesus gave me hope and walked beside me.
