The most impoverished Christians I know are those who refuse Jesus’ Lordship.by rejecting His Word. Our lives are transformed as we obey Him. The Holy Spirit uses the Scriptures to challenge, rebuke, heal, and mold us into Christ’s image.
That’s not a comfortable process. It isn’t meant to be.
