A New Lesson Learned
I accepted Jesus as my Lord and Savior back in college.
One day, a few years later, the Holy Spirit revealed a new sin inside me. One I didn’t know about. Repulsed by this dark soul-stain. I cried out,
“Lord, how can You love me, when I’m guilty of such an ugly sin?”
Wrong question.
Because He already knew.
Any sins I commit in the future won’t surprise Jesus. He sees my entire life on this earth with eye-piercing clarity. Yet He still saved me and gave me eternal life.
Here’s another insight; we can’t disappoint Jesus. Because we can’t surprise Him. He has no illusions about what we’re like. No false expectations of how we’ll act.
Yet He’s called us into His Kingdom of Light anyway.
