A Word about Leonard Ravenhill
A few years ago, I bought a book, a Christian classic called Why Revival Tarries by Leonard Ravenhill. This great evangelist and preacher died in 1994 at age 87.
Ravenhill did the same work in modern times as the Old Testament prophets; calling God’s people to repent and return to the Almighty. He loved his fellow believers, but he grieved about the shame that sin-filled Christians brought to Jesus’ name.
You will either love or hate him, but his words always fire my soul.
