You can count the seeds in an apple, but you can’t count the apples in a seed. (Johnny Appleseed, paraphrased)

If you’ve never heard the real story of folk hero Johnny Appleseed, check out my post, “Offer God Your Spiritual Seeds.”

For in him we live and move and have our being For in Him we live and move and have our being. (Acts 17:28)

I thought this image of the underwater sea turtle perfect for my post, “The God Who is Ever Present.”

When the Holy Spirit puts up a “no swimming” sign, do we listen?

Frogs die in swimming pools, but not for the reasons you may think. Check out my post, “When God Says No.”

Baby green sea turtle entering the ocean for the first time.

Step into your unknown destiny. Follow Jesus wherever He leads.

A baby sea turtle is instinctively drawn into the unknown ocean. Unfortunately, human beings often resist God’s clear leading. Enjoy my post, “Be a Sea Turtle and Answer Jesus’ Call.”

Two hands painted red against a white wall.

Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be white as snow… (Isaiah 1:18)

“Caught Red Handed” is an American phrase which means someone has caught you in the act of doing something wrong, like stealing or cheating on a test. But the Bible says our Savior always knows the hidden sins of a man’s heart. This clear image of red hands caused me to write my post, “No Secret Sins—Jesus’ Strangest Choice.”

Be my rock of refuge, for you are my rock and my fortress. (Psalm 71:3)

The most secure air force base in America is concealed inside a mountain. Enjoy my post, “My Rock of Refuge.”

Excellence isn’t always optional. Neither is holiness.

I featured this image of a young woman breathing fire in my post, “Holiness During the End Times.”

Fire-breathers have to do it right the first time.

I give full credit to her teachers, who made sure this young woman was prepared to pull off her spectacular, fire-breathing stunt safely.

Excellence isn’t always optional.

Based on this image, I think this young woman could give a dragon lessons on how to breathe fire.

Anyone can count the seeds in an apple, but only God can count the number of apples in a seed. (Robert H. Schuller)

Rev. Schuller put a new, truthful twist to this old saying, by mentioning God’s ultimate knowledge of all things. He may not have been aware of the original saying, or who said it.
