My Own Story
As a young Christian, I battled against pride. Thankfully the Holy Spirit dethroned my idol to self. So I’m much more content now.
Yet this prayer remains my favorite.
I 100% know God uses me when I’m not paying attention. Friends have told me so later. But there’s no temptation to praise myself because I don’t see it.
In Heaven, maybe the Lord will show me all the ways He answered this simple request. Then again, maybe He won’t and that’s okay too.
But if you’ve struggled with pride, like I have, this is a good prayer to pray.
My Spiritual Point
Chipmunks are primarily found in Canada, Mexico and the U.S. This small, harmless creature could comfortably fit in a woman’s hand. But if God can use a chipmunk to accomplish His will, He can use me too.
